– All signatures must be signed in front of the circulator of the petition
– a petition cannot be left unattended for people to sign. Each circulator must certify before a notary public that signatures were signed before them.
– Signing a petition form with a power-of-attorney is NOT allowed, please contact the Town Clerk for information on alternative registration signature statement
– Each candidate must sign consent for nomination in the Town Clerk’s office.

– Must have 70 signatures – it is recommended that more than 70 signatures are on petitions to cover any that are not able to be counted.
