The Maine Forest Service offers Maine citizens the option to purchase open burning permits online. Through the easy online process, you can purchase an open burning permit 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from your home or office (providing permits are being issued at the time).
Burn permits may also be obtained by contacting the Houlton Fire Department.
