NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
WINTER ROAD SALT
INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Houlton requests bids for approximately 1600 TON of winter road salt, delivered to the Houlton Public Works Department for the 2026-2027 winter season. Materials must meet current Maine Department of Transportation specs approved by Houlton Public Works.
Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked “ROAD SALT BID” on the outside to: Town Manager, 21 Water St., Houlton Me, 04730, no later then 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 3rd, 2026, at which time they will be opened.
If any additional information is required or to request a bid packet, please contact Robert Monfils, Director Houlton Public Works Department, at 532-1325, between the hours of 6:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
